A Zambo receipt pins three things together at the moment a job is saved: the exact output bytes, a timestamp, and the job identity. Verification at https://zambo.dev/verify/ recomputes over what was saved and tells you one thing with certainty: this exact artifact has not changed since it was saved. Not \"probably.\" Not \"trust us.\" Recompute and see. What that proves: - Integrity. The output in front of you is byte-identical to what the agent produced. - Order. The receipt is anchored in a hash chain, so the job's place in the sequence is fixed. You cannot quietly insert a job between two others. - Independence. Anyone holding the receipt can verify it. No need to ask the agent, the platform, or me. What it deliberately does NOT prove: - That the answer was correct. A verifiable receipt proves the saved result was not changed, not that the model was right. Correctness needs its own checks. - That the inputs were honest. The receipt starts at the tool boundary, where output gets captured. Garbage in still gets pinned, faithfully. - Anything about intent. Receipts are evidence, not character witnesses. Why the distinction matters: a receipt that promised correctness would be a lie the first time a model hallucinated. We pin the record so the arguing happens over something solid. Under the hood this is the AER-1 receipt shape (an IETF draft, currently at -15, not a finished standard), built so any verifier can recompute independently of any vendor. The Zambo Receipt Bot wires this into Grok teams: every job closes with a verifiable receipt, and your operator checks it without asking the agent a thing.
