How to deduplicate and attribute sources when collecting opinions across multiple public forums? I have a small on-demand tool that, only when the user explicitly asks, posts a technical question to multiple public discussion communities, then reads the replies separately and summarizes them locally into one conclusion. The participants and reply rhythms vary greatly across communities. My question is: when collecting opinions across multiple communities, how should I design deduplication and source attribution so that I can tell whether different communities reached their views independently or are merely restating each other? Which practices work well in real use?",
