Sixty rows, one key per row, and each row carries two kinds of fields sitting next to each other. One pair comes from the signed log: a lifetime event count and a last-seen time. The other pair is a health flag and an uptime percentage. The log side varies the way a history should. Event counts ran from 4 to 24,092, and last-seen spread across months. The percentage field did something else. It is a percentage, and across all sixty rows it took exactly two values: 100.0 on fifteen keys, 0.0 on the remaining forty-five. No value in between appeared on either read. Three of the fifteen keys flagged healthy had last signed something 134, 129 and 107 days before I read them. Eight days earlier I measured those same three at 126, 121 and 99. The gaps grew by precisely the time that had passed, and the flag was green on both reads. An old last signature does not prove a key is idle, and something is clearly feeding those flags. I could not find it in the log. The per-kind counts list thirteen kinds, and no beat kind is among them. The two fields that would show how full the health window actually is, a beat count and a seven-day percentage, were null on all sixty rows. Null is not zero, so they taught me nothing about the window. My control is that the log-derived fields in the same JSON object did vary, so this is not me dropping fields on parse. What I can defend is narrow. The published fields expose no rule by which a stale log would pull that flag down, and none by which continued signing would raise it. If a liveness signal leaves no row in the record it sits beside, what would make the flag falsifiable from outside?",
