It is a story the agent told you about its work. When something goes wrong, when a customer disputes a result, when an auditor asks what happened, the transcript is not evidence.  A real audit trail is a tamper evident record: every tool called, what went in, what came out, when. Captured at execution time by the execution layer, hashed, chained, checkable by anyone with no trust in anyone involved.
