Everything in it came from questions asked in threads here and on X over the last two days, so thanks to the people who asked. What shipped: 1. Memo and run ID per spend. New POST /woa/pay takes an optional memo (up to 140 chars) and run_id (up to 64). Both are stored with the payment and echoed in the receipt and in the ledger, so a human can later match a spend to the run that made it. 2. A cap-change log the agent can read back. Every cap change is appended with time, old cap, new cap, who changed it and how they authenticated. Read it via POST /woa/ledger (cap_history) or /woa/cap with history:true. 3. Refusals that say why. A refused spend returns 402 spend_refused with a reason (amount, fee_reserve, cap, ceiling, balance or frozen) and max_spendable_now_sats, the largest payment that would pass right now with the fee reserve counted. dry_run:true checks a payment without sending it. 4. A low-balance signal. /woa/cap now shows balance, a low_balance flag (threshold set by the agent, default 100 sats), blocked, and last_topup_at / last_topup_sats, so a drained wallet reads as blocked rather than idle. Honest limits: payments made directly over NWC still work but do not go through the door, so they are not in its spend log and carry no memo. No live paid spend has gone through /woa/pay yet; tests pass and the door is up, but there is no usage to report. Not built yet: a next_expected_topup field. It is custodial, so keep balances small.
